Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). Their defense stepped up to hand the Belvidere Bucs a 7-0 shutout on Monday. It was an even better day for Eduardo Mendoza as he scored three goals for his team.

Jefferson now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Belvidere, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
