Basketball Recap: Andrews Academy Takes a Loss

Andrews Academy was the 57-27 winner over Clinton Christian when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Andrews Academy were just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 50-49 to the Clinton Christian Couriers.

Clinton Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anthony Snyder led the charge by going 7 for 13 en route to 17 points in addition to six boards and four blocks. The dominant performance gave Snyder a new career-high in blocks. Another player making a difference was Hayden Lower, who went 8 of 13 on his way to 18 points and six rebounds.

Andrews Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Clinton Christian, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Andrews Academy will challenge Kalamazoo HomeSchool at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Clinton Christian, they will face off against Lakeland Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lakeland Christian Academy will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Clinton Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
