Grand Street Campus had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They never let the Madison Golden Knights get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Grand Street Campus pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Madison, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.
