Baseball Recap: Harper Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Harper posted their closest win since April 2, 2024 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Goldthwaite Eagles 4-2.

Harper has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.6 runs over those games. As for Goldthwaite, they moved to 4-12 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Harper will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
