South Warren is 9-1 against Franklin-Simpson since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Spartans will host the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. South Warren will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

If South Warren beats Franklin-Simpson with nine runs on Tuesday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Everything went the Spartans' way against Glasgow on Monday as they made off with a 9-3 win. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Franklin-Simpson was not the first on the board on Monday, but they got there more often. They came out on top against Allen County-Scottsville by a score of 7-3.

Max Wren looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Liam Heinze was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He has become a key player for Franklin-Simpson: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-7 otherwise. Griff Banton was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Franklin-Simpson has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for South Warren, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-2.

Everything went South Warren's way against Franklin-Simpson in their previous meeting back in March, as South Warren made off with a 10-4 victory. Do the Spartans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
