Softball Recap: Central Aroostook Makes It Five in a Row at Home

Central Aroostook won against Ashland on Thursday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Saturday. The Panthers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Wisdom Pioneers. The Panthers' win was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Central Aroostook's victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for Wisdom, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
