Softball Recap: Fordyce Comes Up Short

Fordyce had lost 14 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 1-11 to make it 15. They lost 26-0 to the Ouachita Warriors. If the Redbugs were looking for revenge after losing 15-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Ouachita, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Ouachita's part, the team relied heavily on Haley Eudy, who went 4-for-5 with one home run, eight RBI, and three runs. Those eight RBI gave Eudy a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Mylee Crow, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs.

Fordyce does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ouachita, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Spring Hill at 4:30 p.m.
