Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pillager). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Crosby-Ironton Rangers a 27-0 shutout on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Pillager and bumps their season record up to 6-10. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Crosby-Ironton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.

Pillager wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 5-4 defeat against Royalton on the 13th.
