Baseball Recap: Prince of Peace Wins Going Away Against Heritage Christian

While Prince of Peace didn't have the best season last year (they finished 7-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Heritage Christian a 15-0 shutout on Monday. The contest marked Prince of Peace's most dominant victory of the season so far.

Cole Clendaniel made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Kesler Gehan was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. Quinn Mayfield was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.
