Stanton County had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Sublette Larks. That's two games straight that the Trojans have won by exactly ten runs.

The team relied heavily on Summer Kendrick, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Ella Krier was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Stanton County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .462. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .379 or higher in three consecutive contests.
