Basketball Recap: Wheatland Comes Up Short

Wheatland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They lost 69-44 to the Bear River Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-48 back in January.

Wheatland's loss dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Bear River, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-13.

Looking ahead, Wheatland will host Marysville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bear River, they will head out to challenge Colfax at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Colfax will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bear River surely won't give up without a fight.
