Volleyball Recap: Rio Grande City Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Edinburg, Rio Grande City was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Weslaco East Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Rattlers have posted since September 28, 2024.

Rio Grande City's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Weslaco East, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Rio Grande City has already played their next game (against Juan Diego Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Weslaco East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Harlingen on the 22nd.
