Softball Recap: Saddleback Comes Up Short

Saddleback lost to Western back in April of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Roadrunners came up short against the Pioneers, falling 14-4. The Roadrunners have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Saddleback saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Savannah Ruiz, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Saddleback's record is now 0-2. As for Western, the victory got them back to even at 2-2-1.

Looking ahead, Saddleback will look to defend their home field on Friday against Los Amigos at 3:15 p.m. The Lobos' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Roadrunners' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Western, they will face off against Westminster at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
