Soccer Game Preview: South Point vs. Lincolnton

The South Point Red Raiders will venture away from home to face off against the Lincolnton Wolves at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Lincolnton will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: South Point extended their winning streak to four on Wednesday. The Red Raiders put the hurt on Crest with a sharp 4-1 win. That's two games straight that South Point have won by exactly three goals.

Meanwhile, Lincolnton kept a clean sheet against East Gaston on Monday. They blew past the Warriors 8-0. Lincolnton haven't had any issues with East Gaston recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Lincolnton hit East Gaston with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Justin Blanco (3), Luis Salas-Torres (3), Josue Diaz, and Diego Abarca.

South Point's win bumped their record up to 14-1-2. As for Lincolnton, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6-2.
