Independence has gone a perfect 3-0 against Prospect recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The 76ers will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 7:15 p.m. Independence is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

Independence came into this matchup off a tough 44-point loss on September 12th. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Yerba Buena by a score of 26-23 on Thursday. On the bright side, the 23- point performance marked the 76ers' highest-scoring contest to date.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Alex Aspiras, who rushed for 115 yards and one touchdown. Chase Pagaduan was another key back, rushing for 71 yards and one TD on only nine carries.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Prospect took on Mt. Pleasant on Thursday. The Panthers breezed past the Cardinals to the tune of 44-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Panthers have posted against the Cardinals since November 9, 2017.

Independence's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Prospect, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-3.

Independence beat Prospect 27-20 in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Do the 76ers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
