Game recap: Scottsdale Christian Academy High School Football Team defeats Valley Christian

PHOENIX, Ariz. - Scottsdale Christian Academy (Phoenix, Ariz.) extended its winning streak to five games with a 41-25 victory over Valley Christian (Chandler, Ariz.) on Saturday.

After taking the lead on a touchdown in the second quarter, the Eagles led 27-6 at the half.

Scottsdale Christian Academy expanded its lead to 28 points entering the fourth quarter. SCA's lone score in the quarter came on a passing touchdown.

Luke O'Neill was the top performer for the Phoenix school. The senior quarterback ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored seven touchdowns on the season.

TJ Widner played well for the Trojans. The junior quarterback ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.



A 35-7 Scottsdale Christian Academy victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.

The loss comes after Valley Christian defeated Combs 39-27 last week.

Scottsdale Christian Academy (7-1) goes up against Cortez in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Valley Christian (4-5) locks horns with Arizona Lutheran Academy in a V Section II game.
