Softball Recap: Stratford Comes Up Short

Stratford lost against Immaculate back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Devils lost 16-2 to the Mustangs. The Red Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carolyne Burlone made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Stratford's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Immaculate, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Stratford will challenge rival Newtown at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Immaculate is set to face off against their familiar foe Kolbe-Cathedral at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
