Soccer Recap: Wolfson Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wolfson walked away with it. They never let the Baldwin Indians onto the board and left with an 8-0 win on Thursday. Given the Wolfpack's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 171st, while the Indians are ranked 424th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The victory made it two in a row for Wolfson and bumps their season record up to 9-10-2. As for Baldwin, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6-3 record this season.

Wolfson has already played their next contest, a 1-0 defeat against Bolles on the 28th. Baldwin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
