Somerset Academy South Homestead has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 25 points or more this season. They blew past MAST Academy 63-38. Given Somerset Academy South Homestead's advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 249th, while MAST Academy is ranked 679th), the result last Wednesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Somerset Academy South Homestead had a senior duo take command as Kas Williams dropped a double-double on 18 points and 26 rebounds and Aaron Rowe scored 20 points along with six steals. Rowe is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Chase Gonzalez, who scored six points along with three steals.
Coconut Creek's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Somerset Academy South Homestead, they pushed their record up to 10-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
