Soccer Recap: Ralston Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Ralston was not quite Schuyler's equal in the second half on Thursday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Ralston can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska soccer rankings (they are ranked 61st, while Schuyler are ranked 14th).

Ralston's goal came courtesy of Guy Altimux, who's now up to four this season.

Ralston has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Schuyler, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2.

Ralston has already played their next match, a 4-2 loss against Gross Catholic on the 3rd. As for Schuyler, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Madison on the 5th.
