Baseball Recap: Napoleon Takes a Loss

Napoleon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 13-6 to the Columbia Central Golden Eagles. On the bright side, the six- run effort marked the Pirates' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Napoleon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Columbia Central, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Napoleon is set to take on their familiar foe Manchester at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Columbia Central will face off against rival Jonesville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
