Meanwhile, while Union Pines put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Triton. Union Pines simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Triton 42-0 on the road. The victory was some much needed relief for the Vikings as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Jeremiah Carraway was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 107 yards on only 12 carries.
Carraway wasn't the only one working in the rushing yards department: Union Pines was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 209 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2023.
