Basketball Game Preview: Heritage Huskies vs. Wake Forest Cougars

The Heritage Huskies will square off against the Wake Forest Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wake Forest took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Heritage, who comes in off a win.

Heritage is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They walked away with a 74-63 victory over Millbrook on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Huskies.

Meanwhile, Wake Forest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a 56-40 bruising from Knightdale. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 353rd, while the Knights are ranked 61st).

Heritage has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-10 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Wake Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.
