Softball Recap: Ashland Blue Devils vs. Falkner Eagles

Thursday just wasn't the day for Ashland's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 23-0 to the Falkner Eagles, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Ashland just can't catch a break and has now endured six losses in a row.

Ashland saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jamerya Allen, who went 2-for-2 with an RBI.

On Falkner's side, Taylor Garner made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk).
