Volleyball Recap: Alden-Hebron Green Giants vs. Westminster Christian Warriors

Alden-Hebron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Westminster Christian Warriors. The Green Giants were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-19.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westminster Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caroline Dinapoli, who had 15 digs. Another player making a difference was Melany Cendon, who had 13 digs.

Alden-Hebron's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Westminster Christian, the victory snapped their winning streak at 15 games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-12 record.

Alden-Hebron will take on Hiawatha at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. After both having extra time off, Westminster Christian and College Prep of America will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. College Prep of America is coming into the contest with seven straight losses on the road, meaning Westminster Christian will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
