Baseball Recap: Borger Comes Up Short

Borger was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 14-0 to the Canyon Eagles. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Borger's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Canyon, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Borger is set to challenge their familiar foe Perryton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Canyon will take on rival Pampa at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
