Volleyball Recap: Hingham Extends Winning Streak to Three

Hingham posted their closest victory since November 1, 2024 on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out the Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers 3-2. Winning may never get old, but the Harbormen sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Hingham was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 26-24, 18-25, 25-16, 15-8.

Hingham now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

Hingham will be playing at home against Silver Lake Regional at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Whitman-Hanson Regional, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Norwell on the 16th.
