Softball Game Preview: Woodbridge Warriors vs. Irvine Vaqueros

The Woodbridge Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Irvine Vaqueros at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Woodbridge came up short against University on Tuesday, falling 8-2. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Irvine beat Northwood 6-3 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Vaqueros.

Midori De Los Santos spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on seven hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Katie Liu was excellent, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in May of 2025. Andrea Torres was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Irvine's record is now 7-14. As for Woodbridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-19.
