Recap: Elizabeth Bulldogs vs. Sotomayor Wolves        
        
		
            
 The Elizabeth Bulldogs lost against the Sotomayor Wolves on January 10th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Wednesday. Elizabeth was outmatched by Sotomayor at home  and fell  66-37. Elizabeth has struggled against Sotomayor recently, as their  game on Wednesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
 It was another big night for  Bryan Hernandez, who  dropped  a double-double on 21 points and 11  rebounds for Sotomayor. Hernandez is absolutely dominating the  steal category: he's  posted at least two every time he's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Adrian Camacho, who  scored 12 points along with six  steals and five  rebounds.
 Elizabeth has  not been sharp recently, as they've  lost five of their last six matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Sotomayor, they pushed their record up to 14-10 with that  win, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elizabeth the luxury  of staying home another  game and will welcome Marquez at 4:00  p.m.  on January 29th. Marquez presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Elizabeth in California (Marquez is ranked 410th, while Elizabeth is ranked 1138th). As for Sotomayor, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Torres at 4:00  p.m. Torres has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7.
