Basketball Recap: Dodge City Comes Up Short

After flying high against Junction City last Saturday, Dodge City came back down to earth. The Dodge City Demons lost to the Woodward Boomers at home by a 40-25 margin on Tuesday. The Demons haven't had much luck with the Boomers recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.

Dodge City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Woodward, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Dodge City and Lakin will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Woodward, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Dodge City at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
