Basketball Recap: Heritage Takes a Loss

Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 62-40 to the North Oconee Titans. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Titans are ranked sixth).

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for North Oconee, the victory (which was their 20th in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

Heritage will take on Archer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Oconee, they will square off against Walnut Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in North Oconee's favor as the squad sits on 26 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Walnut Grove has been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road.
