Baseball Recap: Manor New Tech Takes a Loss

Manor New Tech blew Navarro out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Navarro got their revenge. The Titans fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Titans have suffered since April 25, 2025.

Gabriel Posada and Nathan Saliangnak did some serious damage despite the final result: Posada went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Saliangnak went 3-for-5 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those RBI marked the first that Saliangnak has brought in this season. Another player making a difference was Adrian Stone, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

With the loss, Manor New Tech broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-3-1. As for Navarro, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Manor New Tech will welcome Round Top-Carmine at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Navarro, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northeast Early College at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
