McClave won the last time they faced Granada and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Cardinals put the hurt on the Bobcats with a sharp 16-4 win. Considering the Cardinals have won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Drew Howe and Ryan Steinbrunn made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Howe tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Steinbrunn struck out six batters over three innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. At bat, Howe scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3, while Steinbrunn scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
