Baseball Recap: East Bakersfield Comes Up Short

East Bakersfield lost against Tehachapi last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blades took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Blades just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

East Bakersfield saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was ESIAH SANTIAGO, who scored a run while going 3-for-4. Another was NOAH FERGUSON, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.

East Bakersfield's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Tehachapi, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-6.

Meanwhile, Tehachapi is set to challenge their familiar foe North at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Warriors' favor as the team sits on four straight wins at home while the Stars have been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.
