Softball Recap: Holly Pond Takes a Loss

Holly Pond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 9-3 to the Cleveland Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Broncos of the 17-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Holly Pond's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Cleveland, they pushed their record up to 7-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Holly Pond has already played their next game, a 15-14 win against Pennington on the 10th. As for Cleveland, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-3 defeat against West End on the 11th.
