Volleyball Recap: Donelson Christian Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Donelson Christian Academy duked it out with Franklin Road Academy on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 3-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2019.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-9, 25-15.

Franklin Road Academy found their leader in sophomore Ella Cassel, who had three digs and two aces.

Donelson Christian Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Franklin Road Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-3.

Donelson Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Goodpasture Christian on the 9th. Franklin Road Academy has also already played their next match (against Zion Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
