Softball Recap: Grant Generals vs. McDaniel Mountain Lions
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither Grant nor McDaniel made it on the board until the fifth inning. The Generals skirted past the Mountain Lions 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Generals in their matchups with the Mountain Lions: they've now won three in a row.

Hazel Heron spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 12 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Grant's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Uva Tomita, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. Olive Raak also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.
