Sylacauga is 0-3 against Mountain Brook since February of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Sylacauga Aggies will be playing at home against the Mountain Brook Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams beat their previous opponents by a single goal, so this matchup might be just as contested.

Sylacauga took care of business in their home opener on Monday (barely). They never let White Plains onto the board and left with a 1-0 win. Sylacauga wouldn't have won without Joe Gaspar-Huerta, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Mountain Brook put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They had just enough and edged Albertville out 1-0. Mountain Brook found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: Hurley Smith and John Montgomery were both handed yellow cards.

Sylacauga ended up on the wrong side of a painful 6-0 walloping at their hands in their previous matchup back in February of 2021. Can they avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
