Recap: Twin Valley Wildcats vs. Twinfield Trojans
The Twin Valley Wildcats couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They suffered a tough 77-53 loss at the hands of Twinfield on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Twin Valley in their matchups with Twinfield: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the loss, Twin Valley saw an underclassman step up: Brayden Brown scored 20 points along with 8 assists and 4 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Dornbrgh, who scored 15 points.
Twin Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Twinfield, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Proctor the next time they take the court. Twinfield will head out to face Proctor on Saturday, while Twin Valley will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
