Volleyball Recap: New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West Find Success

New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West hadn't done well against Appleton North recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West came out on top against Appleton North by a score of 2-0. New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West was shut out 2-0 the last time they took on Appleton North, so New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West was just returning the favor.

Braden Borchardt paced New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West's offense, picking up 11 kills. Borchardt got some help from Justin Kloskey and his 23 assists. Lucas Komp controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The victory made it two in a row for New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West and bumps their season record up to 5-3. As for Appleton North, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West and Appleton North will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West will square off against rival Greendale at 6:30 p.m. on the 10th. Meanwhile, Appleton North is set to face off against their familiar foe Notre Dame Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
