New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West faced Appleton North in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West came out on top against Appleton North by a score of 2-0. New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West was shut out 2-0 the last time they took on Appleton North, so New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West was just returning the favor.

Braden Borchardt paced New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West's offense, picking up 11 kills. Borchardt got some help from Justin Kloskey and his 23 assists. Lucas Komp controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

The win made it two in a row for New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West and bumps their season record up to 5-3. As for Appleton North, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-3.

New Berlin Eisenhower/New Berlin West will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Greendale at 6:30 p.m. on the 10th.
