Baseball Recap: Belle Plaine Comes Up Short

After flying high against English Valleys on Monday, Belle Plaine came back down to earth. The Plainsmen fell just short of the B-G-M Bears by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-4 back in May.

Belle Plaine has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-8 record this season. As for B-G-M, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Looking ahead, Belle Plaine will take on Iowa Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. B-G-M has already played their next game (against Baxter), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
