Soccer Game Preview: Andrews vs. Big Spring

The Andrews Mustangs will face off against the Big Spring Steers at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Andrews' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Andrews' offense. They fell 2-0 to Frenship Memorial on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Big Spring also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 7-0 to Greenwood on Tuesday. Big Spring have struggled against Greenwood recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Big Spring's loss dropped their record down to 3-18-1. As for Andrews, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13-3.

Andrews skirted past Big Spring 1-0 in their previous matchup back in February. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Steers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
