Softball Game Preview: Roxborough Wolves vs. First Philadelphia Prep Eagles

The Roxborough Wolves will take on the First Philadelphia Prep Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Roxborough blew West Philadelphia out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday West Philadelphia got their revenge. The Wolves fell just short of the Speedboys by a score of 10-8. That makes it the first time this season the Wolves have let down their home crowd.

Meanwhile, First Philadelphia Prep put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Martin Luther King with a sharp 19-8 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won four contests by 11 runs or more so far this season.

Roxborough's loss dropped their record down to 3-2-2. As for First Philadelphia Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 7-0.

Roxborough skirted past First Philadelphia Prep 10-9 when the teams last played back in May of 2025. Do the Wolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
