Basketball Recap: Goffstown Falls to Nashua South in First Game of Season

Goffstown had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Nashua South Purple Panthers by a score of 47-44 on Friday. The Grizzlies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Purple Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Goffstown will head out to face off against Alvirne at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Nashua South, they will be home for the holidays to greet Pinkerton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
