Softball Recap: Ridge View Takes a Loss

Ridge View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They came up short against the Blythewood Bengals, falling 7-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bengals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 on Tuesday.

Ridge View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Blythewood, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Ridge View will face off against Sumter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blythewood, they will venture away from home to square off against Lancaster at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The Bengals' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bruins have averaged an impressive 8.2 runs per game this season.
