The School Without Walls Penguins are taking a road trip to challenge the Sidwell Friends Quakers at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. School Without Walls is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.3 runs per game this season.

On Friday, School Without Walls made easy work of McKinley Tech and carried off an 11-1 win. The Penguins haven't had any issues with the Trainers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

The team relied heavily on Theo Weller, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. Leo Peil also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Sidwell Friends suffered their closest defeat since April 13, 2024 on Thursday. They fell just short of Flint Hill by a score of 9-7.

School Without Walls' win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Sidwell Friends, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-3 record this season.

School Without Walls might still be hurting after the 11-1 loss they got from Sidwell Friends in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can the Penguins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
