Baseball Recap: Clinton Gets the Win

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Clinton ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They won by a run and slipped past the Big Foot Chiefs 4-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Clinton let Cole Williams and Logan Hendricks run wild. Williams went 3-for-4 with one run and one double, while Hendricks went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Those two hits gave Hendricks a new career-high.

Clinton's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Big Foot, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Clinton will have a chance to go back-to-back against Big Foot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
