After flying high against Triad Math and Science Academy on Monday, Bethany Community came back down to earth. The Wolves came up short against the Leadership Academy Falcons on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Wolves' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

While Bethany Community was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-19, 25-16.

Their offense was headlined by Audrey Waddell and Cambyll Shokes, who picked up six kills apiece. Shokes really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 11. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Bethany Community's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Leadership Academy, they pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

As of now, neither Bethany Community nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
