Salisbury has gone 9-1 against Lexington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. It'll be a Battle of the Bugs Hornets challenges the Lexington Yellowjackets at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Salisbury sitting on six straight wins and Lexington on three.

Salisbury is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past East Davidson 73-7 at home on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won six games by 26 points or more so far this season.

Lexington had a senior duo take command as Jaylen Henderson rushed for 50 yards and two touchdowns and Qwazir Craven rushed for 167 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Lexington also got help from Naquel Wood, who showed off his sure hands for 84 receiving yards.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Lexington was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 220 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 220 rushing yards in three consecutive matches.

Salisbury's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-1. As for Lexington, their win bumped their record up to 5-2.
